I feel like I've seen this explained before, but why wasn't Emilio Delgado- a.k.a. Luis- in this special?

Also the fact his future wife Maria was with David on the subway, I wander how he would have felt about that, lol!

When I first saw the movie I thought Bob was Luis and he was the one Maria married

Well, at the time, David and Maria were actually paired together. It wasn't until David's actor, Northern Calloway, became ill with stomach cancer, that Maria was instead paired with Luis.

Yeah It was pretty awkward to see Maria being kissed by that other guy! Considering she's now married to Luis!
