When I was 6 years old, I thought that scene with Big Bird sleeping in the snow was a bit disturbing itself, but the mysterious person approaching Big Bird was really scary, especially when Big Bird woke up, the mysterious person was gone and then unsettling music plays, really creepy stuff.
