I wouldn't mind the BJ scene if..


..it made any sense at all in the movie as a whole. It doesn't make sense for it to be there if only for Vincent Gallo. Or "shock value" or referencing something like The Idiots? I don't know it's just pointless, whereas in Antichrist or The Idiots it's completely justified.

Can anyone convince me otherwise?

it's there because that was one of the shocking things he saw Daisy doing with one of the guys in the room at the party. It was very painful for him. So he imagined her doing it to him, and that somehow allowed him to accept the fact that she'd died. It's the tie in, so to speak, to his catharsis.

Now, I'm not saying it was a brilliant piece of film making, but at least an argument can be made as to why it was relevant to that particular scene. Maybe it's a reach, but I do believe there's a connection between the two events.
