Steve Whitmire awesome!

Is anyone else totally amazed by Steve Whitmire's performances of Kermit the frog? He is a main muppet performer as is, but to take over and do such an exact copy of Henson's character is fantastic.

Along with Eric Jacobson taking over all of Frank Oz's characters. I noticed that Fozzi's voice was a little different, but I figured Frank was having an off day. Wasn't until now I found out that it was a different person all together.

To work for Henson would be a dream job.

I love Steve Whitmire, and despite the uneven script for VMX I think his performance of Kermit really shines in this movie. And Eric does a fine job with all of his characters as well, especially considering he hasn't had that much of an opportunity to perform them in longer productions.

And what about Dave Goelz? I know he's had decades to work on it, but Gonzo is perfect in this movie!

Steve is also a good singer in this. He was great in the song Everyone Matters.

All the performers are great. I think all the characters that have been recast (which sadly is most of them) are being done really well. Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Animal, Beaker, Scooter, Janice, Sam, Statler, and Waldorf all sounded good

I think he has come a long way, and he did a great job in this. Kermit made me laugh a lot in this one, and it's thanks to the job he did for sure.

I like this DVD a lot - I don't know why it gets panned so often.

It's a shame he is no longer Kermit
