I don't get it...

I thought Brian Henson was doing a good job taking over for his father...and then they brought out Muppets From Space, and now someone else doing this movie, and the Muppet Wizard of Oz. Of the first two there are some parts to the movies that I like, but it's just weird, it's like the magic that was in the Muppets for so many years is just gone and they have to rely on pop culture blending with the Muppets to keep them above surface. But I mean really, Miss Piggy going on Scrubs? Kermit trying to get Triumph the Insult Dog for a Christmas show? And how about Rizzo the Rat talking about "American Girls Gone Wild"? Yeesh! *cringes* If Jim Henson were alive today you could bet that it wouldn't be anything like this...and anyone who saw Brian's movie Muppet Treasure Island, that was a good one, it didn't have any of the stuff like these newer movies have. Anybody agree that it seems something's gone wrong with what once was one of the best things in entertainment for families?
