Ford never got the script!

Just to let everyone know, Ford agreed to the project without ever seeing the script. Also, he didn't seem to extatic with how it turned out in the interview I saw him in. He just plugged the movie, but didn't seem to really believe in what he's saying.

"What Lie Beneath" did rock, but he has to make a living and this project probably seemed fun from a respected director ("Bull Durham," "Tin Cup"). IF the movie stinks, it's not Ford's fault, it's the inability to put together a coherent storyline (something Ford just assumed). Ford didn't know what he was getting himself into, and Hartnett isn't the greatest actor in the world (not the quality Ford was when he was starting out).

So you're saying that it's Ford's fault that the movie sucks???

he should have read the script before joining.

If Ford never saw the script, then it truly IS his fault.

I havent seen this yet, but I think if Ford hadnt seen the script, it isnt his fault that the film sucks. It just means that he has no excuse, he cant say that he thought it would work out better, he was an idiot, but the blame shouldnt fall on his shoulders alone.

I never saw the interview so I don't know but Harrison is not stupid - he knows this is a piece of crap but really has no choice other than to promote. What is he gonna say? Don't go see my movie? This is the worst movie I've ever been in? There is no way he can get away with that but I bet he is telling his friends a different story - probably apologizing for making them sit thru it. Where is my apology - for wasting an hour of my life. I walked out after an hour and got a full refund.

It does not surprise me that Ford agreed to do this without reading the script. I don't think he was right for the part and he seemed to completely miss he tongue-in-cheek aspect of the story.

Show me some evidence of all these 'interviews'. I think it's highly annoying when someone talks about 'something they just read' or 'an interview i just saw'. show us direct links.
