I enjoyed the movie quite a bit (I went into it with the usual "low expectation" symptoms from reading everyone's posts here, but I can't believe this film cost that much money.
sharejust guessing here, but for one thing, Harrison's salary is through the roof. And it's real expensive to shoot in California, which is why many big productions go to tax-friendly Canada or New Zealand

Well, Harrison ford is a 20 million dollar actor, so right there, you're down to 55. I'm sure Hartnett got a big check, maybe 5 or 8, so let's call that 50 million. Shooting in Los Angeles, all on location, is crazy expensive. Rapper cameos, production crew, film stock is said to cost 1/3 of your budget, etc.
And don't forget they had to rewrite it as a comedy.

I think the actors took most of the money and left a few bucks for some car chasing scenes ..... that's it !
the movie was not bad though ... it has some good parts
