The man who SHOULD have played Joe.

In my opinion, one of the biggest problems of this movie was the casting of Ford. He is one of my favorite actors, but he didn't seem to fit this role. As the movie continued, he grew on me.

But I think Tommy Lee Jones should have played Joe.

I can just see him saying a lot of Harrison's lines. The way Jones delivers is just so witty, it would have fit this film perfectly.

I love Ford and I think he was a lot of fun as Gavilan, but I also think Jones would have been fun to watch as well. The only problem for me is that I'm one of the few out there who thinks Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Hartnett look alike (particularly the eyes!), and that would have been quite a distraction throughout.

Josh does look incredibly a lot like Tommy Lee Jones. I also agree that Harrison Ford was great in it and Tommy Lee Jones would have been too.

There is nothing wrong with Ford playing Joe, the opposite. He was perfect and gave the character a distinct personality. Very well done.

The problems with the movie are: the director, the editing and the music. It could have been a good movie. It reminds me of Any Given Sunday, also annoying because of the loud music and "mtv" edition. Al Pacino is an amazing actor but couldn't save Any Given Sunday either.

Ford was perfect for the part and the best thing about the movie. He's the only reason why I enjoy it.
