I think what the poster is referring to is that he thinks the ending was untrue and that Seabiscuit did not win the last race shown in the movie based on a previous post saying 'the ending was Hollywood garbage'. Seabiscuit did in fact win the race, but his victory was much different than that depicted in the movie. In reality, the last race is actually, imo, much more exciting and interesting than in the movie. During the race, Seabiscuit becomes boxed in with no way to get to the front and Red is in danger of banging his fragile leg into surrounding horses which could easily injure him again. A gap just wide enough opens up and allows Red to drive Seabiscuit through and then on to win the race. Compare this to the movies's inexplicable burst of speed for no reason.
