In the scene where Melanie and Ryan are looking through Grandpa's clothes and Ryan puts on the dress pants, he is wearing boxers, and then Melanie proceeds to tease him for wearing "butt-huggers" Wonder what happened there...

Ryan says they're briefs, but they look like boxers... that's what you would call boxer briefs... they're long like boxers but they're also bugg-huggers.
