Was Trinity already out of the Matrix when this took place? Or, was she still just a hacker? Her clothes and gun would suggest that she is already out. But, if that's the case, why would she go back in to talk to the detective? Why would the agents even use him to get to her? I'm totally confused.
shareI think they constantly went into the matrix to try and find people who could take the truth and rescue them, like they did Neo (well, Neo was a little different obviously, but still) and Kid. Trinity probably thought she could save him and still escape the agents.
