World Record

Not trying to start a race war here, but one thing i noticed is that all the black characters are portrayed as normal, calm, and intelligent (The athlete, his father, the reporter). However, Out of the three white characters, the coach is completely spastic, he has is always moving his hands and can't stop talking; and the nurse speaks of nothing but drivel and also speaks in one non-stop sentence. The third white character is a valet man. Also worth noting is that all of the runners are black and all the spectators are white. Anyway i picked up on this on my third viewing, i was wondering if anyone else noticed.

OMG I think you're onto something big here, black people want to use the Matrix to enslave white people and use them for fuel!!!

If you observe the characters the whole choice seems very leftist with some amazingly talented girls and blacks.

The fact that you "noticed" racial distinctions, is in itself, racist. If the runners had been white, I would have thought that as being unrealistic and therefore, racist.

I don't like the name Lawrence! Only *beep* and sailors are named Lawrence!

I think completely ignoring the colour of a person's skin is racist. Personally I think white people should embrace being white and black people should embrace being black, in other words, embrace our heritage. Should it matter at all? No. But why ignore it? If you think you are better than someone for your heritage then that is racist, but simply observing that some characters were black and some were white is not racist.
Honestly I think political correctness works against itself half the time.
Anyway, as the guy said, he didn't want to start a race war, so to that person I apologise, I just needed to get that off my chest.

I think he meant noticed as in called it to attention as something odd. I too RECOGNIZED the skin colors of the people in this short, but didn't think anything of it. Let alone it being racist in some way. It's always funny to me how UN racist I am and that I only recognize that when someone else points out something that could ring racist, but I never would have noticed without them pointing it out. hahaahah

That's not what the word racist means nor is there any implication that noticing race is racist. I know this is over 4 years late, but what a terrible comment on your part...and no, I'm not white!
