What, exactly, were the The Second Renaissance real-life references?
I heard that various images from The Second Renaissance were inspired by real-life war crimes, such as someone getting run over by a tank in Tiananmen Square, a police officer shooting a suspected Viet Cong member, Nazi mass graves.
But what were the other ones?
That outnumbered woman getting surrounded and beaten and shot seems familiar, and not just because it is similar to The Bride's treatment in Kill Bill, but rather a real life event. Maybe Incident on Hill 192?
Then there were various other atrocities... what were they from?
