jim and michelle dated for @ least 3 years, and he'd never met her parents, even though they lived in the same town? its clear they moved, cause they stayed w/ jims family before the wedding, but still, how had he never met them?
shareNo it's totally believable because my friend who recently got married last summer had never met her husband's parents until the wedding either. It's weird because she lives with them now and absolutely HATES them! You'd think they would have meet in the years that the people dated, but no.

It took about 6 months of dating my boyfriend before I met his dad. He met mine instantly. I still barely know his dad at all while he knows my parents well. Some couples just don't get to know their partner's families, especially if their partner doesn't want them to know/meet their family.
