The scene where Coraline's other father says at the piano "he pulled a looooong face! And mother didn't like it!"

I'm not sure why, it was just so over the top and random. What was with the low angle zoom out and the long stretched out face? I just found it to be quite funny.

Yeah, me too.
The fact that even the detached parts of the Other Mother could be afraid of her and that she would go as far as killing them? Creepy.

Yes, but I found it more funny when the other mother counted to 3. Pulled Coraline by the nose and locked her in the room.
