Why no Burt Gummer ?

Does anyone know why there were only a few moments in episode 11 with Burt Gummer and he didn't appear at all in episodes 12 and 13?

Don't know for certain, but he could have been taking time off to shoot "Tremors 4: The Legend Begins". The series was released in 2003 and Tremors 4 was released in 2004, so I guess it's possible.

Just guessing. Really don't know for certain.

I came on here to post the exact same thing. Those last few episodes weren't that good because Burt was gone...it felt empty lol

He had to testify before congress, the senators kept chuckling every time he said "Ass Blasters".

I think that Gross owns the property now so he could schedule himself as he wished.

He was filming Tremors 4. The series and the movie had an overlap in their schedule and Gross obviously couldnt be in two places at once. Neither was willing to budge on their schedule so the episodes had to do without him.

i think it gave the other characters time to develop more. see how the show can go on without burt being the main hero. i think they wanted to set up race car driver as the next big hero and main focal point of the series.
