What did people from CT think of the 'Conneticuit' comment??

I'm from New York but I thought that line was hysterical and especially how Glenn Close's character presented it as well w/ her infamous gasp. Hahaha.

I lived in CT for 5 years and loved the whole line. It made my friends cackle too

I remember seeing the movie at the then-existing Silver Lane movie theater in East Hartford, Connecticut. When the lady made her famous statement about Connecticut everybody cheered.
