that seemed like what the filmmakers wanted the message of this film to be. the book and the original has Joanna and Bobbi as at least sympathetic characters and when i watch that film, i'm on their side

with this film however, the three leads are utterly horrible people. Joanna cares more about her television career than her own family's welfare. Bobbi is a bitch to everyone and demeans her husband whenever they're together. Roger is a hugely exaggerated gay stereotype that embarrasses his partner every time they're out in public. it seems like this film is saying "hey, look we just replaced these nasty people with nice robots". then the whole ATM wife and the adjustable boobs makes the idea of having robots kinda cool

If a robot eliminates the bitchiness, whining and complaining, as well as the inherit monthly mood swings, then I can't wait for a goddamn robot.

She won't age, she won't complain, she can mow the lawn, change the oil in the car, rotate the tires, AND do all the domestic things.

Christ, she'll also be loyal and won't bitch about equal rights, AND, she'll be bullet proof, AND have an inherit strength 100 times that of a human male.

GODDAMN! GET ME ONE NOW!!! Hell, get me a dozen!!!!!

I won't have to waste money trying to please her!

I won't have to pretend to be interested in her stupid problems!

I won't have to go for that big promotion for her sake!

I won't have to remember idiotic, STUPID, and INANE and UNIMPORTANT DATES that any other woman thinks are precious!

Goddamn......that's a male dream come true.

Because men are just too lazy to deal with such horrid things as having to hear about equal rights, I feel for ya. Thousands years of slavery, being property and raped is totally comparable to having to hear about the systematic recovery of such events. Look you had a bad girlfriend (or maybe you were the dick and didn't like she wasn't putting up with it anymore, ya that definitely sounds more likely), but does that mean you have to take it out on all women? Well by your logic it sounds like it does (insert skewed face here). Good luck with that, hopefully you move out of the stone age before the last half of your life is up

Oh my, we do love to make assumptions, don't we.

I fell in love with a woman when I was younger. She came back, but because I was harassed by the San Mateo sheriff's department on behalf of the State of California, for which I had to file a formal complaint with the Department of Justice's Inspector General in order to get it to stop, I lost her AGAIN.

She wasn't a complainer, she didn't ridicule me, she was positive, cute, pretty, honest and caring, but the great State of California and the morons in the investigative branch of San Mateo county, because I lost my temper on the road a couple of times, thought FOR SURE that she was the cause.

And when some very philanthropic successful person tried to reunite me with her I passed. Why? Because not more than six or eight moths before the same State and County tried to hook me up with a "FAKE". And since I hadn't seen the woman in a couple of decades, I wasn't sure if it was her or not.

She was the one woman I really loved because she DIDN'T HAVE all those OTHER qualities I so frequently saw in my buddies' girlfriends, sisters and mothers.

So, in short, stick that in your reproductive port.

And yes, I hope to hell that I live long enough to buy and own a gazillion hot femme bots, although NOTHING, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will replace what I lost a second time.

Are you always this stupid? Are you always this dumb? Are you always this much of a .... never mind. I'm going to heat myself a slice of pizza, and forget about your typical presumptive attitude.

Right so you just summed up my point on your own, the funny thing is you still don't get it LOL.
PS you sound like a serial killer, or at the very least have problems with obsession. Your obsession with one woman and how you think she was so perfect as to cast out every other woman proves this. Quite like the creep who fixates on their mother preventing normal relationships

I think it would make more sense to just build an android programmed to be the perfect stepford wife and let the men custom the looks. They can just leave their wives and marry the androids.
