Robots need exercise classes (??)
When Glenn Close brings Joanna to the Simply Stepford Day Spa, the women are doing elaborate exercise classes. But why would robots need to keep their (plastic) bodies in shape?
In the original, it made more sense that the (converted) wives stayed home to cook and clean, and be available for sex with their husbands if they came home on their lunch hour. They were basically domestic slaves.
Why would they even leave the house to do anything but go grocery shopping, or run errands for their husbands?
