The Best use of the Eternal Darkness IP

In thinking abut the game, and the story,I was reading a forum about what game would make good movie. Naturally being one of my favorite game, ED came to mind, but that's when it hit me, it wouldn't make a good movie or movie series.

It would make a great TV series.

Think about it, different lead characters each episode, different historical settings, all linked by the over all theme (and a few cross episode appearances of spirits and what not). The material lends itself very well to the blue print TV is using for many shows now, though instead of supporting a huge cast, only a few select characters need to reappear in more than one episode. Special effects on lead shows are deffinatly up to the task on this, so it would be a very conciveable idea.
