so, who was the guy hanging from the ceiling in that sanity effect? was he a past Roivas who committed suicide? if so, who exactly?

I don't know if it's meant to be anyone in particular. It's just a sanity effect.

I'm pretty sure it's meant to be a Roivas ancestor, although who the game doesn't clarify.
