I mean c'mon, Ben Stiller and Jack Black? I haven't seen it, but I couldn't imagine as it being bad as everyone says. My friend whose seen it was like,
"Don't be fooled because it has them (Stiller and Black) in it." I'm like oookaaay. I can't believe it could be as horrible as people put it, but I'll just assume it is. I saw it posted up by the theater in my area around my mall for like a week and then it just disappeared. I can't believe it. Ben Stiller is usually really excellent in his movies and stuff. Jack Black is okay. Hopefully they both can try another movie together with a better script, writer(s), and director.

they said the same thing about duplex, and i thought that movie was hillarious!

Rent it with some friends, get drunk, and you'll laugh your ass off.

It is really, that bad.
I was surprised to see the score on imdb seeing the cast, but what can I say?
The script is horrid - absolutely no interest, no laughs, nothing.
Avoid at all costs.

Yeah, it is pretty weak.
I thought it sounded ok until I actually started seeing it being made and coming to life.
Only took for fuckin' ever.
I mean, c'mon, School of Rock was filmed AFTER this movie was, and it still came out first.
Cuz test audiences hated it.
And understandably so.
Even Jack couldn't save this one, and Jack is hilarious.
But this isn't a typical GOOD Jack movie, it's a Jack-really-needed-the-money movie.
I hate Ben Stiller, he's a prick, so I knew I would hate him in this.
But the whole thing is just...meh.
It's boring.
It's a dumb plot, with horrible writing, and useless gags and unbelievable circumstances and just way too many things overdone to show you just how rich Jack's character is.
It's annoying.
And it just seems to go on and on and on...
It's only an hour and 40 minutes, but it feels like 5 hours.
Especially when Ben goes through his 5 minute confession speech.
God, that was irritating.
There were a couple scenes that were ok, but all in all...I'd say this sucked.

Just watch it for Christopher Walken. Hilarious dude.
