I just want to say that I usually enjoy Ben Stiller and Jack Black. When I heard they were in Envy together, I thought this movie will be awesome! I rented it and I'm ashamed to say I fell asleep and didn't even feel guilty about sleeping during this dreadful movie. Sure there are some quick jokes here and there. Nothing kept me engaged in this movie. I would rather watch a naked dodgeball match between the former cast of Golden Girls. Bea Arthur naked amuses me much more than this movie and makes me want to puke.

Don't rent this movie, walk right by it at the video store and don't look back.

You missed the point of the movie. It's not meant to be a laugh out loud comedy. For the most part it is a hy-brid dark comedy/drama in a reflective social commentary. It really is quite genius on not only Black and Stiller's behalf, but Walken stole the show.
