When listening to the theme song, are you reminded of Family Guy?

Whenever I hear the Envy theme, I'm reminded of the parody they do on Family Guy in the "DaBoom" episode, where the world is blown up because of Y2K, and the Griffins travel to that city with the Twinkies (I think Randy Newman?).

They make fun of him again on Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. It's so funny. That style of songwriting totally reminds me of the original songs in Envy.

Am I alone?

omigod yes. im glad someone else thought this. actually any randy newman sounding song reminds me of FG.

Well, sir, you are just a fountain of knowledge. We are all truly humbled in your presence. I don't need to look it up, I'll take your word for it.

Maybe it doesn't sound like Randy Newman to you. As a matter of fact, the voice is nothing like Randy Newman. However, the song-style -- how it's a narrative on what's going on in the plot -- is almost EXACTLY like how they parody Randy on Family Guy! You should look that up.

Whatever, Poindexter -- I guess you pwnd me....

Wait a minute, no you didn't!, because it reminds me of Randy Newman impersonations from the Family Guy episodes. How can you argue that? It just does. I didn't ask you to tell me that it doesn't remind me of that. I'm telling you it does. I don't care if it was written by Shakespeare, or if it has the word of God breathed into it. It still makes me think of those Randy Newman impersonations. Apparently I'm not alone.

Are you the guy that wrote the soundtrack to Envy, or something? Why do you have so much vested intrest in what I think? If you disagree with me, just say "no, it doesn't remind me of him"... don't give me a freaking book report.

I've never seen Family Guy, but the lyrics of the song sound like something written by Randy Newman. Not the singing, but the lyrics.
