He started off with some kind of Irish sounding accent and then just slipped back into just being Christopher Walken!! I laughed like a drain when I realised he only did the accent for about 5 minutes in the bar. He does that a lot. Like in True Romance, he started off being an Italian mafia type then he went right back into CW.
He's never been the same since he shot himself in the head.......
It's Walkenese. Seriously, his accent is vaguely New York but it's pretty much his own thing.
May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.
If that was supposed to be an accent, I couldn't possibly tell you what it was. To me, the character sounded like he was drunk 24/7.
shareChristopher Walken's style of speech is brilliant. He should never be asked to do an accent, you can hire any actor to do an accent
