am i the only one or what?? ben stiller and jack black are real funny together... they're just funny guys to watch and they don't NEED to say a bunch of jokes to make me laugh. christopher walken was KICK ASS in this as well. his character J mann is great and a perfect character for him to play..... this movie kicks ass... disagree and i'll eat your face off.
shareI thought it was kinda funny. My friend thought it was hilarious. The part I thought was funny {SPOILERS} was when Corky got killed and then Tim and the J-Man had to dispose of the horse. In my opinion, it wasn't the funniest movie, but it wasn't bad.

shareYeah, i have to agree that there were some pretty funny bits, but I also reckon most of the script sucked. No wonder it never made it to the movies, even though it had jack black and ben stiller. Its like one of those badly written and yet still funny anyway movies, which are always good for a laugh, but nothing more. And theres nothing wrong with that!

This had to be the worst movie I have ever seen. I can't believe somthing a class comedy actors like bens tiller and jack black could be in a movie this bad. I have never in my life turned off a movie when i was in the middle of watching it or walked out of a movie theater untill i saw this movie.

I really liked it! It wasn't the funniest movie I've seen, but it's just very fun to watch! I don't think at all it was dead, I mean Lost in Translation was DEAD and boring IMHO, but this was nothing like it.

shareThis is the kind of comedy you need to watch late on a friday or saturday night after eating way too much pizza and drinking way too much coke. You have to be in that slightly hyper but lazy state of mind to enjoy this film. Luckily I was and I thought it was hilarious. But it seemed very....ummmm...quiet..as far as comedies go. You dig? It seemed like a bit of fun, nothing serious.

Agreed. Envy (I personally liked it)just isn't one of those movies with universal appeal. It's not Jack Black and Ben Stiller's usual fair. I've only seen it once, but as I recall, something about the movie just seemed surreal. That's one of the things I liked about it.

shareI was amazed how bad this was. The script was lifeles. Sitting through an hour and a half of that half baked dreck was painful to say the least. Stiller and Black did nothing to help either. Bad show all around.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.
