This film is (124|> and many people will agree, but did they miss the point?

For me it sums up the american ideal, anyone can get rich you just have to have the ambition. There is the man who creates an empire (Jack B) and the one who sits around doing nothing becoming green with envy (Ben S).

How many times have you watched the shopping channel, its got some really stupid products and I think the film taps into this well. It Va-poo-rises poo just like many products say they eliminate (whatever they do), when you get it home everything is fine but then it stops working after the warranty date / breaks down / courses more problems that it fixes etc...

Ok, the film does not have that quality, style like others but that is what overall makes it good. Hard to explain to people living in america because it makes them see just how naff their country is from the outside view (like the exported shopping channel shows each product is a revolution).

Not saying its going to win any awards, but the dvd can be picked up for very little (£3) and at that price totaly worth it.

Its a bad movie. The director could have done so much more with these actors. All the talent but no dilivery.

It was a long time ago that i watched this movie, but i remember i couldn't stand up straight for a day or two after watching it cuz my guts hurt so bad from laughing so much! It was hilarious, but ya, it had Ben Stiller in it, so that's a given -- he's funny just to look at lol.

this movie was aired on a local tv station a few weeks ago and i thought it was hilarious!!!

Rachel, Ben, Jack, Amy, Christopher!!

WOW! yeah sure it's stupid but you don't know this comedy like i do. it's too bad some people don't appreciate it.

Brilliant cast, including two of my favourite comedy actors and one of my favourite actors of all time....but it just didn't make me laugh.

I really wanted to like it (and never pay attention to reviews as lots of the comedies I like get poor reviews) but I just couldn't. There was the odd funny moment, and maybe I judged it harsher than I might otherwise have done due to the quality of the cast, but I just think it's a wasted opportunity.

I must state that this sort of silly comedy is exactly the sort of film I like.....just not this particular one.

I agree. Not funny, but fun. I know it ain't funny but I couldn't help being entertained by it!

This film was excellent for me. I recently reconsidered it again and later 3 years, film has remained for me very amusing :)

The idea of this movie is also really funny, just hearing what it is abotu will make you laugh. But it has a lot more in it than just a simple invention, it is a really under-rated movie.
