I Actually Liked It

It's not laugh out loud funny, but I think it is a good movie...

I just finished to see it and now gave it six points.
I didn't laugh very hard, but there were some good scenes in it, I liked the acting very much and the film actually has a very pleasing message.
Yeah, I pretty much liked it.

I saw it in the theaters and enjoyed it thoroughly. I just happened to see it in the $5 bin at Walmart and decided it was time to own a copy.

The movie does a good job of parodying those "dreamers" who come up with stupid ideas. The joke is that this one actually works! Stiller does a great job being the un-adventurous, bitter, envious guy, and Jack Black, in classic Jack-Black form, is a dim-witted but well-meaning true friend, so simple and pure of heart.

The fact that everything worked out at the end in a HAPPY way was my favorite thing about this movie.

Movie seems fine to me somewhere between a 6 and a 7, not high brow but entertaining and somewhat of a life lesson involved if you wanted it ?

I like this movie too. I have it on DVD (it wasn't released at the cinema over her). I've watched it 3 or 4 times in the last 12 months or so. It's quite entertaining, and a few funny moments.

I'm pissed that Jack Black publicly apologised for the film, just because it didn't do that well in the cinema.

I actually liked it too. Didn't expect it to have such low ratings, TBH. I love the dry sense of humour in the film. It's not obvious humour, it's kind of eccentric and painful to watch, but in a good way. Kind of like the office.
