In The Tower Of The Gods place when you're helping the statues get back when you press the R button HE's SPEAKS he says "Come On"

I can't believe it! I heard from a friend that he was mute. That's why in many games he wouldn't talk

Then how wouldpeop,le knowhis name? Remember, they ask his name, then they say Link?! I don't think he has a Link aura that automatically tells people thats his name...

Too keep it seeming like that you are in the role of Link, you never hear [see] what he says. but he apparently talks all the time.

In the beautiful language of Hylian...

Although I don't think Windwaker Link speaks Hylian cuz of his priceless face when he first speaks to the Deku Tree! xDD

Yeah, he's not a mute. He's simply the embodiment of the player, meaning it would be inappropriate for him to talk. They later made him an actual character with Skyward Sword.

I heard him say something, but I never realized what it was! I thought he just said "HEY!" really fast that it sounded like "HA!"
