I know he gets a lot of hate for scientology. I personally couldn't care less what a performer does off camera or off stage.

I love this movie, and I find it to be a wonderful story of recovery and self forgiveness.

I like it very much too. It grew on me a bit. The first time I saw it I liked it but it didn't blow my socks off, it then played quite often on TV, I don't remember where AMC, TBS, something like that. After seeing it a few more times it grew on me even more.
