So Hans Zimmer didn't get nominated for an Oscar because...?

The music was great, one of his best scores. I can't believe he didn't get an Oscar nomination, he got a golden globe nomination though.

Beautiful score. Zimmer should have been nominated at the very least.

Agreed; I can't believe this didn't get a nomination (Cold Mountain?).

Shore's work on King was sublime though; definitely deserving of the win.
