How much faster than the other guy would he have to be driving to clear the other car?

What angle would the bridge have to be at to give him enough air time to do so before landing?

What ground distance would be covered between the drawbridge take off point and landing back on the road on the other side?

I have a horrible feeling that this scene may not have been a 100% realistic possiblity. However I know this cannot be true as I have been reliably informed that the early Fast and Furious films are grounded in the reality of street racing and that it was only the later entries which became ridiculous...
