How much rent do you expect him to pay? If he pays $3500 for the race he stands to win $10500 on top of getting his $3500 back. So that probably covers his rent for a year.

It's as bad as Brian saying "you know I could use the money..." Yet drives a $80K+ Skyline and has no problem dropping $3500 for a street race.

He might live in some nice high rise on the beach. They are in Miami. Having 10K a month rent isn't out of the question.
