The moment I stopped watching the series

I completely understand that watching this movie (the entire series as well) requires total suspension of disbelief. Everything about it is just so over-the-top fantasy.

But the part that made me stop watching every FF movie afterwards is towards the end of 2F2F, when Paul Walker's character says they have to crash land their car onto a moving boat in order to save Monica Fuentes who is INSIDE the boat. That requires WAAAAAY too much suspension of disbelief for any audience. In reality, the car would just destroy/sink the boat and kill everybody onboard. But in this movie, it is the only solution. SMH.

Glad to say I have not watched any Fast n Furious movie since then. Too much BS even for a fantasy movie.

Hold on... you're saying that a 1 tonne car can sink a 10 tonne yacht?

Wow. I wonder how I'm still alive after the COACH I was on in Europe drove onto a cruise liner and sailed across the English channel... 

Absolutely it can. The car is made of metal and hit the ramp at high speed. It can puncture any part of the hull or the side if it hits it in a vulnerable spot instead of landing squarely on top of it.

You just said it yourself - "hull or the side" - which it hit neither. It landed square on the back.

Secondly, it's a 2-story boat. At worst it would've destroyed the upper level, and with the bottom level still in tact, wouldn't have had a problem staying afloat.

I merely mentioned the hull or the side as a direct answer to your question about if a 1 ton car can sink a 10 ton boat. So yes, it can. No need to over-analyze everything, especially about a fantasy movie. My point still stands about the absurdity of the lack of common sense in willingly driving a car into a moving boat.

That may have been the best stunt of the series. Or it could have been Dom leaping from building to building in the super car in the 7th film. Regardless we are not watching a documentary. We want to see all this fantasy. Its part of the movie experience

This is the same film which starts with Brian winning a race by turbo boosting his car OVER THE TOP of another car whilst driving over a raised road drawbridge!!

The same film!! But you're all onboard until he drives his car on top of a boat in the same film? Say what?!

Little did you know it would get much worse.
