There was a rumor of an American Distributor picking it up? Any news?
Has there been any followup? Do you think people are waiting to see how TROY does, and maybe they'll release it and ride the Sean Bean wave?
shareUnless something happened since I heard from one of the producers of the film, Steven Kaplan, which was about 2 weeks ago, I was told not to expect any official word about the film until December. Then my son told me that on a local news station's entertainment segment not long afterwards, the film was going to be released in December, but he didn't know what the name of the distributor was that was mentioned in the report.
All I can suggest is to contact either the "official site," Rainstorm Entertainment, or else the one of the other production companies for the film, Echo Lake Productions, and send an email to them and hope that you hear from someone about it. IMDb has a link for Rainstorm Entertainment.
Me, I was going to wait about a month more to write back as a follow-up, since these matters are subject to changes at any time. I sure hope the film has a December opening. From what little I've read about it in IMDb and on the Internet, it should be an interesting and very entertaining film!
