My take on what it all means (spoiler)

First off, you'll have to bare with me, here. This was an incredibly cryptic movie. There are a lot of things I just don't understand about it, but let me try my best to map out what I think you guys in the spoiler thread missed. At the end, when John is talking to the FBI agent, the agent says a large amount of money was transferred into his account. Now, he was left with one suitcase with some undescribed amount of money in it. What if that money was so he could take the part of Neely. Neely paid him to take a single suitcase (perhaps the one he was left with when everyone else went to the other side). So John is supposed to pass on the favor by offering someone who needs help the amount of money that was in the suitcase if they'll take it out to Cowboy in the desert.

We see that John gets the bandage on his neck, probably from where they extracted his sperm. Maybe Neely had the same thing, and that's why he wore the neckbrace. Knowing you got abducted is enough to drive anyone crazy.

i think that your right aboot the suitcase but really, whos to say? like mabey if you dont go then you have to give the suitcase to someone else that much makes sence, sorta. the bandage has to be where they extracted his sperm because that was made reference to a few times in the story and there is no other explanation for it.

The band-aid on Johns neck is common with alien abductees. Supposedly they have things implanted into the back of their necks. I just figured thats what it was. Besides, thats a long way to go for sperm when there is another entry point that wouldn't leave any marks or any indication of what happened.

I think the band-aid was covering up an implant.

WELL....Joey Lauren Adams had a band-aid on her neck at the beginning of the film. So...did they suck sperm from her neck too? I'm betting it's the implant thing also. Gonna watch it again soon, and see if anybody else has one too.

They wouldn't suck sperm from her copeydotcom. If you paid any attention during the movie they also mention taking eggs as well.

I assumed Neely was wearing the neck-brace because he was an alien like The Cowboy. Remember when The Cowboy's neck contracted and was kinda alien looking?

I had a yet-different take on the band aid. I think that Neely wore the brace to KEEP the aliens from putting an implant in him there, and that's why he never took it off. What an outstanding movie!
