Rewatching a few episodes (ok, ok, rewatching the entire series), I'm noticing that her shirts are waaaaaaaaaaay too low cut... Does anyone else think this?
In nearly every single episode I'm seeing wayyy more than is appropriate for an FBI agent!

Its tru NinaNinja. Poppy likes to show off her cleavage big time....the cleavage was always showing especially when she was pregnant.
If you notice, the only season Samantha wore a turtle neck was in Season 1...after that the turtlenecks went away!
Between her low cut tops and Elena's super tight skirts and monster heels, neither were attired to be in the field.
There is an episode in Season 7 where Samantha is wearing a silky top that has a plunging neckline because its not buttoned. Its not the style of the shirt, its just that it wasn't buttoned up.
Also, the length of both Samantha and Elena's hair is ridiculous as I would guess that real life FBI agents can't keep it that long..........but hey the hair topic may be another thread entirely! Dont' get me started on their hair..
So correct! The wardrobe change in the last few season was one more factor in the "jump the shark" that occurred. There was an ep n yesterday (from Season 6, I beieve) where a girl went through an exorcism.
In one scene, Sam was interviewing a man. Her top showed her cleavage when she was sitting up straight. When she bent forward, it was ridiculous.
I find it hard to believe an FBI agent would be allowed to dress like Sam and Elena. Toward the end, Vivian also dressed in a questionable manner. It is amazing how her heart sugery left no visible Scars (lol).

For sure alpfanatic. Not only would it be against regulations, but why would two female agents WANT to dress that way? In a male dominate profession, you'd want to be taken seriously...you'd want to be dressed in a way that men notice your face and not your chest.
Truly, I really never forgot its a TV show and of course they don't have to be bundled up from head to toe (that would be just as lame), but you can still dress feminine without all that cleavage showing.
Also, I would have LOVED an episode showing a violent suspect grabbing for Elena and Samantha's hair..It would have been so funny...Than maybe they'd put their hair back.
Buns and chigon hairstyles always look so nice and they never got out of style. I don't get why every episode seemed to be both agents have super long hair and it was always hanging in front of their faces...
Just a show, but it is pretty funny when you start to think about how unrealistic everything was......
I guess most actresses simply won't ever cut their hair, no matter how long it gets..
I'm sure they can keep their hair long, it just needs to be tied.
Even in season 2, she wears so many shirts unbuttoned down to her cleavage.
She's certainly no Dana Scully.
