could anyone give me recommendation about more series like this? series that involves someone with power, magic, etc.
I love Heroes (even it's not the same kind of power with carnivale, but there're power involved), altough the last season was kinda boring, but i still disappointed when they cancelled it.

Hannibal (O.K. it's not paranormal but the police investigation in it is so ridiculous it might as well be. In the shows defense, it is very creepy and atmospheric).
The two Cartoon Network shows: Gravity Falls and Over the Garden Wall. GF is more of a pastiche of Twin Peaks, light and kid- friendly but the show has an interesting mystery and the paranormal stuff can be really cool.
OTGW is very strange and mysterious. It also has some of the most beautiful animation not to come out of Japan.
This series has more in common with e magical realism of eastern European and Latin American cinema than other TV shows.
