I'm re-watching this wonderful series, and I have a question about the "Irish bartender" in Babylon. Why did he not leave? It seemed as though he was "stuck" there with the ghosts, but wasn't he mortal? Thanks in advance, I can't find an answer to this.
shareHe was Scottish, actually. He was mortal, and he kept trying to escape, but he was trapped, to provide entertainment for the ghosts. It was never explained exactly how he kept ending up back behind the bar, but it was the reason he wanted to provide the ghosts with someone to "dance" with, so they would let him go.
If you've watched "Pick a Number", you know how mortal he actually was - and that he knew if he died in Babylon, he'd be there forever. <shiver>
I jus watched pick a number.. Yet the bartender would go on harming the Harlet girl forever , an forever, and ever :( SAD
