I miss this show so much. I remember watching the premiere and loved it

Man I miss this show. I remember seeing previews and at first I didn't want to watch it for some reason, but I ended up watching anyways. I loved it! Especially JJ so cute LOL. For christmas that year I got the soundtrack and season 1 on dvd, I was so excited.

I got my mom hooked on it by watching season 1 dvd with her. From then on we watched the show together, my dad even got hooked on it LOL.

When I found out it was canceled I was so mad. I told my mom and she didn't believe me. However, when it wasn't on tv anymore she knew it was over. It was so sad. Thankfully I have all of the seasons. I have season 1 on dvd and finally got all of season 2 downloaded on the computer as well as season 3.

I really miss this show. I still don't get how other shows like One Tree Hill (which I love) can make it but not this. I really think it was because of Meg and Sam's "relationship" but then look at the show "Lincoln Heights" they have an interracial couple and the show is going fine. Urgh I don't think we will ever know. I was hoping another channel would pick it up.

I can't believe it aired in 2002, it seems like yesterday.

I was just watching some episodes on my DVD of the first season- I still miss it. I couldn't wait for Sunday night to arrive to see a new storyline, and hear great music. One of the highlights of my life was seeing the cast IN PERSON on their float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2002 in NYC- simply amazing.

I miss this show and the 'type' of show that it was and it was clean, wholesome and somewhat of a throwback to the 60's shows that I loved as a teen.

I don't like the new racy material on TV. It's just plain disrespectful the way men and women talk to each other so American Dreams was a breath of fresh air.

this great show was a victim of low ratings. the way NBC bounces shows
around is a factor. they also put it on against other popular shows.
i loved it just as well and hoped another network would pick it up.
at least we have the dvds of what was.

it dropped it cause of ratings yet it had higher ratings than the overpimped FRIENDS spin off and yet that continued to be pimped like it was the next best thing.

I just finished my bi monthly AD marathon and was in tears. It was a wonderful show and it got murdered. Yet year after year we have to hear about a new reality show about the most asinine part of life. from meeting the new in laws to crossing the street.

sorry for the real late reply. i just got back to see the latest
rounds of cancellations of good shows. i think most viewers, at
least younger than me get bored real fast. our generation likes to
see character development. people want everything within the first
two episodes. the only reality show i watch, and it is the original
is COPS.
