Fine. Maybe we could talk about Playmates and 4Kids ruining this series after 5 exceptional seasons,
or the whoring of the '07 TMNT movie,
or how every TMNT adaptation gets f'd up to become "kid friendly",
or how every current adaptation blows
or how everyone believe the turtles should be like the 80's/90's cartoon.
or how the DVD order for the 80's/90's cartoon is messed up
or how fanboys love to deny the real episode order for the original series.
or how much an @$$hO13 the guy who runs the official site is
or how much Peter Laird disses fans
or how much Kevin Eastman needs to be involded in the comics,
or for Pete's sake banning good characters that are workable in to become part of the official TMNT universe.
What a f'd up 25th anniversary, makes me question why I'm even a fan.
I agree with most of what you said. I just watched the interviews of Kevin Eastman in the new season 7 DVDs and he seems way more laid back and chill than Peter Laird; and he seems to still have a great love and respect for the original comic and series. He would be breath of fresh air if he ever returned to the franchise. We can all just hope that the new live action movie will be a return to form. It has great potential if the producers stick to there statement that they're going to follow closely with the first 12 issues. And yeah turning the current show into Fast Forward and BTTS was horrible and made it just as generic as the majority of cartoons these days. The '07 movie was ok and not near as bad as some people say, but still no where near as good as the first movie. And yes the official site could use an upgrade. Still the first 5 seasons were incredible and deserves just as admiration as the original series and movie, the rest of the series can go to hell.

Kevin Eastman sold his half of the TMNT franchise to Peter Laird.
shareYeah I know, which was why I was suprised to see him interview and show his still apparent passion for the franchise.

I heard Eastman will be involved in the future TMNT projects and i was surprised too cuz wasn't last year where finally all the rights of TMNT went to Laird?
shareDoesn't surprise me, Laird apparently needs Eastman's help.
