This series could have been remembered soley for the fact that it was a great adaptation of the Turtles. Now only Seasons can be remembered that way not the whole series because of Playmates Shallow Toy selling, Kids targeted, GREED inspired Seasons. Playmates KILLED the show as well as the Turtles popularity all because of their GREED! What a f'd up 25th anniversary!

It's sad and makes me question why I'm even I fan. Everything about TMNT nowdays is messed up. Honestly I'm glad they didn't order new episodes, one less messed up version of TMNT.
P.S. I noticed there are no more classic toys and less TMNT movie toys. Looks like karma for Playmates GREED.

shareI can understand how fans felt around the time that the Vol. 1 comics ended it's run but, I still say Laird sold out even more this time by letting the series go in a lighter campier direction after lobbying so much to have the turtles be portrayed like they are in the comics. All of that was tossed out of the window to make a 7 and younger show to sell toys because everyone had GREED on their mind.

This series was awesome up until they decided to spin it off into Fast Foward. I do not consider Fast Forward par tof the 2003 caretoon canon. It is more of a side story with no effect at all.
