Just wanted to say that. I grew up with the 80's cartoon of TMNT.. watched it before school everyday. But this... THIS version blew my mind! I only just watched it last year and I keep thinking about how great it was. I loved every episode of it. The animation and fighting was perfect. The characters, music, the dark feel to it (like the comics) ... just loved it. There is sooo much action and fighting in this series so you won't get bored.

Sorry, but this is the best TMNT cartoon right now. This one isn't really for kids, it's more a teenage/adult cartoon. Pretty much every episode is dark and gloomy and serious. Kinda like Gargoyles or Batman TAS. Just stay away from season 6 and 7. It has nothing to do with the rest and it is terrible.

A must watch - 10/10!

Yup. I watch cartoons of all types and this one is up there with the best of them.

I'm hearing/ reading Spectacular Spider-Man get recognition as the greatest toon of all time (huh?!?!) and just puzzled. After watching Spectacular Spider-Man for a 13 episode season, it was a breath of fresh air to see TMNT again. The animation is on a whole different plane of existence. Thats really a compliment to their creators because that Spidey show is pretty good... but I have to go green on this one.

Yea, it was a great show. Fast Forward and Back to the Sewers were awful toy commercial/cash grabs (well a few ok ones, like the Moo Mesa episode and the wedding was decent). TMNT Forever was pretty good though.

Agree with the OP. Absolutely fantastic re-imagining. Wasn't too gone on Fast Forward - but then that was pretty much a spin-off series on its own terms.
