I don't know if you've noticed this but since the CW pulled the plug on Everwood, no other family-teen show has worked. Cases in point: the new season of 7th heaven, runaway, life is wild.
Now, it seems that Life Unexpected might get axed (I haven't seen it. I heard it's okay). The ratings of Life Unexpected is about 2.5 millions while Everwood fan base was always more than 3 million viewers.
I agree with you 100 percent. I have always believed tha Everwood would have done very well for The CW. To this day I do not know why Dawn Ostroff chose to get rid of it? 7th Heaven was clearly on its last season. One Tree Hill had lower viewers and to this day still has roughly the same amount of viewers it did back then. Since Everwoods cancelation it has gained more fans because of replay on ABCFamily and finally Season 2 being released on DVD after a long 5 year wait.
shareWell, according to Dawn it has a really good shot at being renewed. I've watched all four seasons of Everwood, and love them. I just started watching Life Unexpected, and now I found a new series I love.I highly recommend it.
