Even though I became an Everwood fan just last year (I bought all the seasons on dvd and watched the whole show in 6 weeks time), I do miss this how.
I liked the ending a lot and to me it felt as though every stroyline was wrapped up to a good ending, I still feel they could have gone on had the show not been concalled. This show had heart, we need shows like this in times like these.
I agree. I, too, just bought all the DVD's about 4 months ago, because I'd heard nothing but good things about it. I went through all the seasons pretty quickly, and now I continue to watch it every day. I just love all the characters and the overall spirit of the show. It's heartfelt and touching, but it has a real honesty to it--it's not sappy or muddled with stupid characters you can't relate to. I love it a lot and wish there were at least a couple more seasons. On one hand, it ended a little before its time, which helps fans maintain good memories of it, but on the other hand, I think they could have managed one more season without jumping the shark...possibly two more. Oh well--it was an amazing series that I will always enjoy in reruns.
