Love Nina with Jake

I know Andy/Nina were always endgame but I honestly think Jake made a fantastic partner for Nina. He overcame addiction, took on her child as though he was his own, and worked so hard to make Nina happy.

I do find Andy extremely selfish, and Jake selflessly gave up his life in L.A to be with Nina. He obviously had a few skeletons in his closet but deep down, what a good guy.

Jake was a druggie. He didn't give up his life in LA to be with Nina. He gave up his life in LA because he was forced to get some help for his pathetic addiction. He didn't even know Nina when he gave up his life. He didn't move back, but he still had an addiction. He would have been forced out anyway if he came back and was still taking meds.

Andy may have been selfish, but he was likable most of the time. He was honest most of the time, save for the Madison ordeal, spoke his mind and saved lives, rather than cover for societal dregs and help vain people get botox injections. Plus he was optimistic without being nauseating, a characteristic which Jake lacked.

I didn't judge his addiction (though that can, obviously, get in the way of maintaining a healthy relationship).

I just didn't think they looked like they were a 'couple,' if you know what I mean - he looked more like her kid brother, than anything else, lol. Andy and she had a very solid friendship to base their romance on - they were great together (plus, she was never afraid to call him out on HIS sh!t, when required). Overall though, he was great for her, and she for him, IMO.

That was for me, the most disappointing thing about the finale. I still think nina should have ended up with Jake! They loved each other and he was extremely devoted to her. Andy was such an idiot to jake throughout his relationship with Nina, I really hated that they ended up together.

The only time I liked Jake was when he realized that Nina's heart belonged to Andy and did the noble thing and broke up with her.

He knew that if Nina married him, He would never come first. She would still go running to Andy when she had a problem instead of him. He wanted her whole heart. Andy had it.
