The Daleks are in this LOL

How much did they have to pay
the Terry Nation estate to get
thier use from Dr.WHO.

I was so excited when I was watching this and abruptly there were Daleks. I had a major fangirl spaz. I was wondering how much they had to pay to use them as well. However much it was I think it was well worth it.

Doctor: Is that the sort of man I am now? Am I rude? Rude and not ginger.

I remember reading somewhere that they DIDN'T pay for the Daleks use, to the BBC or Terry Nation, and there was controversy surrounding it.

I haven't looked to see if it's *exactly* like a real Dalek; "fair use" may be in play here.

The producers negotiated with the BBC for the use of the Daleks. Copyright belongs to the BBC and the Nation estate equally.
