The Music

Jerry Goldsmith has once again given us the most kick ass music ever. Just sit down & listen to the music, it's magnificent.

While I'm not quite sure if this was his last completed score, it was certainly a fitting end to his legacy.

The Looney Tunes BIA score, while not perfect, did carry all the popular styles Jerry used: the coming darkness, complete wacky insanity, thrilling action and just a touch of drama.

I swore I actually heard his Gremlins theme in there!

Now I have three sequels. Ho ho ho.

It was his last. And it wasn't completed. John Debney composed the music for the last reel of the film.

EDIT: Well, it turned out to be his last. Timeline would have been his last, but it was rejected. Damn you Richard Donner.

Goldsmith's score for Timeline wasn't really rejected. It was more a case of the film being heavily re-edited after unfavorable previews. Goldsmith was already quite ill and simply did not have the time or the energy to accomodate the ever-changing cuts.
That's what I remember reading somewhere.
