SPIDERMAN in the crowd?!?!?!?! (spoiler alert!)

Has anyone else ever noticed one of the extra's is dressed up in a FULL Spiderman costume??? It's the scene, toward the end, where they are detonating the explosives in the street to have the armored car fall through. They show the crowd of city people scattering in reaction to the explosives, and one of them is dressed up like Spiderman! WTF?!?!?!

reply

pic or it d'ident happen

reply

This is mentioned in the trivia section TWICE.

reply

Okay, so it was mentioned in the trivia section "TWICE", but they still don't mention WHY someone is dressed up like Spiderman. What is the point for that??? It's funny, but it's kinda weird.

reply

Yeah it's weird. My answer was really directed towards klobby2002, who seemed to have doubts that it was even true.

reply

clearly none of you have heard the expression "pic or it didn't happen". basically it means "sir, show us what you're talking about, please, cause we'd like to see it as well"

reply

I've seen the expression before in forums, but I thought it meant you didn't believe it happened without seeing a pic. When someone just wants to see a picture, I usually see the expression "this thread is useless without pics."

reply

OMG i saw that when i watched it today, i had to stop, rewind and play it again and I was like "WHAT?!" and then i laughed. he's running kinda, in a crowd after they detonate the bombs to get the armored truck, it was random

"Ezekiel 25:17"

reply

LoL. It actually means, "Where's the proof? If there's none then it's false".

A ship sank at the end of the movie Titanic

reply

I don't have a screen shot but i did, in fact, see Spidey in the crowd. Even backed up the film to make sure. He be there bro.
:)

reply

Im assuming they did it as a parody. . . I mean they were in L.A. Anything is on the streets, I thought it was funny to see spiderman running away from a falling armor truck. . .

I wish my faucet ran Arizona Iced Tea, But my noodles would taste different :(

reply

I heard there are some street performers in the LA area who dress up as superheroes. Maybe he's one of them (or meant to be)?

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

reply

ya i thought of it as being like a street performer or actor entertaining people on the street

Strong Carl, a few years ago Mann stopped calling it Mann's Chinese and went back to "Grauman's Chinese." Mann's is also getting out of the movie biz and the Chinese is up for sale, if you're interested.

I've added additional info to the Trivia post, maybe that will cut down on these posts.

I don't know how much time you've spent in touristy parts of big cities, but that wouldn't be strange at all. I've seen Snow White in NYC, and Jack Sparrow, Boba Fett and storm troopers on the Las Vegas Strip. It would not surprise me to find the same in LA.

Just my $.02

reply

"It would not surprise me to find the same in LA."

Well, not right now. They've outlawed this because tourists were reporting the characters for aggressive behavior, etc. They might still figure out a way to have them supervised, but for now there are no characters out in front of the Chinese...

reply

There are street performers that are in costume that stand outside of Graumans Chinese Theater... That's where the armored car scene took place. I have a picture with "Darth Vader" and my best friend was chased my "Jason Voorhees" when we were in Hollywood for my birthday last year.

You should read my previous post.

peter parker got tipped off about a possible hiest so he swung over to LA to stop it. too bad nothing gets in markie marks way. not even spiderman.

reply

They were in front of the famous Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles... street performers ( in costumes ) are always out there.... nothing unusual about it.

I hope it's some starved for attention extra that pulled one over on the director/producers. I can just picture some guy dressed normally and then....right before they call action.....he turns his shirt inside out and throws a mask on and suddenly spiderman is in the crowd without anybody noticing until they got to the editing room.

It's probably just a street preformer that's always on hollywood blvd, though.

The city of Los Angeles has come to an agreement with the street performers, so Spidey et all, are back on the sidewalk in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater.

You also have to understand to, Figeuroa, and some of the streets steve was naming off in the chase run right by Universal Studios, a place whee they do and did at the time have a Marvel Comics Superhero show.I know because I had seen it once.

Life is like a Parachute, you cannot really live through it without a harness.

That's a real long shot, Wes. Figueroa is about six miles from the Chinese, which already has a history of costumed characters out front.

reply

Indiana Jones was behind him too
