Can someone please explain why they didn't just call this rubbish remake The L.A. as 90% of the film takes place in L.A. and only about 10 minutes in Italy.

Because it is a quote from the film. "We do it like The Italian Job". That's why.

Reed Rothchild: "Hey, are those lizard?"
Dirk: "No, they're Italian."

i agree this movie should have been called the la job.....i dont give a sh** about the quote. the whole idea for the movie being called the italian job is it be set in italy and by the sounds of things the writers have absolutly no respect for the michael caine version what so ever. if it wasnt for the original they wouldnt have this second class remake. when will these hollywood wannabees learn not to mess with old movies that they dont understand and know nothing about.
